Moran Day History

2021 commemorated Moran’s 75th Moran Day celebration. A time for the community to come together with our neighbors and friends, town and country - a day of festivities, honor, and merriment.

Prior to World War II, The Kafir Korn Carnival was first celebrated in Moran in the Fall of 1938. Amongst the main attractions were the street dance, visiting of friends, and a coming together of the townspeople. Celebrations resumed in 1946, the festivities are now known as Moran Days! Dancing, decorations honoring the farming community, and good times accompanied the early celebrations that were held.
